Day 10/14 of my Creative Process. Singing and playing at church has been so good for me, not only musically but also spiritually. My soul is lifted when I sing about, and to the one who created music…and me. I have found that in my music I attempt to recreate (or find) that same feeling of hope and love.

Day 8/14 Creative Process. This is how my studio started vs. how it’s going!! But I’m not done!
In this process, I’ve learned how important it is to consider the details of the space you’re working in. I try to keep a space that is clean, in order, where I have all I need close by and free of distractions. But regardless of where I am, when I’m making music, I’m at home.

Day 7/14- My Creative Process- So I become obsessed with understanding the music production process…and studied it non-stop for 2 years. I would wake up thinking of music and go to bed still thinking of music (I would dream of music many nights too! 😅). That period of my life, although many times felt magical, sometimes felt frustrating; I SO wanted to finish something!! To release a song! But I decided to take the time I needed to learn. To give those melodies I had in my head, time to develop and become what they wanted. That’s one of the big lessons I take from this process: give it time (and of course…keep at it!).

Day 6/14 My Creative Process Story—
This is what my first “studio” looked like! 😅 (around June 2020). It was my playground and I was so happy! The world was upside down with lockdowns (COVID), but in this place and time, I was finally able to do what I had always wanted: create music from start to finish.
