🔧 : Event Tech Upgrade for Texas Youth Cheer & Dance Association hosted by the Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association 🔧

We are excited to share a recent project where we had the opportunity to build and optimize computer systems for a major event. Here's what we accomplished:

💻 Custom-Built Computer Systems & Upgrades:
Enhanced Storage: Designed for larger storage capacity to handle extensive data and high-quality footage intake.
Faster Processing: RAM is crucial for minimizing latency and ensuring smooth performance in a computer system.
Video Capture: Integrated video capture cards to take in multiple sources and output to various destinations, minimizing the need for extra converters or gear.

🖥️ Server Imaging:
Not only did we need a server for the General Session, but we needed TWO more servers for the client’s breakout sessions, showcasing three full-fledged systems for independent rooms.

📈 Outcome:
High-quality records for live program and backup recordings, already turned around for the client.
Successful live stream operation from audio to visual aspects.
Successfully maintained and operated a team and three rooms over a full day.

🐾 Testing the Canon R6 II Mirrorless Camera System with Maze & Luna! 🐾

This weekend, my team and I at 667 Media LLC are gearing up for the Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association Spring Tournament in McAllen! With over 70+ games on the agenda, we'll be in full swing capturing those unforgettable moments. To ensure we're at the top of our game, I took some time to test out the Canon R6 II mirrorless camera paired with the RF Canon 400mm 2.8 lens. And what better subjects to practice on than my beautiful Dobermans, Maze and Luna, having a blast with their favorite ball?

I had the incredible opportunity to represent 667 Media LLC as a Media Server operator for an amazing event at the InterContinental San Diego Hotel in San Diego, California with Encore Global.

Our team had the privilege of working with Encore to deliver stunning Media Server content over a massive canvas space of 13,400 x 1,800 pixels on an LED wall provided by AD AV Productions LLC. This was made possible by our specialty in displaying dynamic video content over multiple 4K enabled ports on our media server, seamlessly integrated with the Analog Way Aquilon video switcher.

To ensure smooth operations throughout the event, we prepared both a and server. Our clean and accessible workstations, designed for optimal Audio Visual operations, played a crucial role in creating an inviting environment for clients to check and collaborate on graphic content.

-Workstation area with our Media Servers
-Picture of the Hotel with a stunning sunset in the background

Working with the local California Encore crew was a fantastic experience, filled with wonderful support and valuable learning opportunities. This event marked my third year collaborating with the client, T. Rowe Price, and Encore.

Today is a very special day.
At 667 Media- we practice a wide variety of production operations. We build media servers, perform high-end graphics and record operations, along with provide professional photography, videography, and post-production editing.
For the last few years we have had the opportunity to put together and oversee the media coverage, promotional coverage, and live stream broadcast for the Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association.
This is our FOURTH year being able to provide these services and the growth has been monumental.
This year we are using two of our media servers- one is taking in the cameras, and broadcasting the livestream, AND the program records. While the other media server is in charge of rapid fire cataloging and intake of the footage.
We cannot thank those who have supported us in the journey enough. And hope to continue to provide media excellence for others.

#WorkshopWednesday 🎥 I love getting the chance to edit content. From graphic creations in After Effects, long interviews, short reels, music videos - it’s all fun! ✨ What I enjoy is the limitless creativity each video allows me to explore. I like to talk about how most of the time, I shoot with the post-production process in mind. 🎬 I like to storyboard and visualize angles and shots that I would love to see in a video after. I play with cinema cameras 🎥, and come in to operate recording sessions on various scales from corporate to concert. I have a preference to shoot RAW and/or the best possible resolution I can; however, the file size of the footage tends to be something in the back of everyone’s mind. 💾 Putting it in perspective, one minute of 1080p LT recording format is about 1GB per minute. 📈 On the Canon 4K DCI RAW at 60fps - we’re now at a potential of up to ~16GB per minute. 🤯 Editing, exporting, and storage gets so much more accessible thanks to my 667 Media, LLC editing workstation. With 16TB of backup storage 🗄️ and a 4TB working drive in the unit, I can confidently bring in and work on footage of any resolution at nearly any capacity. But it doesn’t stop there! With 24GB of VRAM, I am able to effortlessly see and work with the footage, and crush export times once the product is finished.
