Well here's something different I've always complained that Bill Miller doesn't have mashed potatoes and gravy but this time of year they have stuffing and you can get some brown gravy on it as your side. 2 pieces chicken and stuffing gravy for only $5.50

I'm trying out the new true Texas barbecue at the HEB down Broadway and I got to tell you I'm not impressed with the brisket at this time it's pretty fatty and I ordered a half a pound of lean. I notice at other locations such as New Braunfels and seguin there was about a 6 months learning curve to get the product up to par. New Braunfels on walnut is out of this world.

What made this tasty though is this Chef Father David's seasoning I received on employee appreciation day. Tell the chef the BBQ rub was out of this world tasty, especially with that hickory smoke ingredient. I put that on the brisket and the all purpose seasoning on the potato salad. Mmm. They can be found at the farmers markets in garden ridge on the weekends.
