It's a block party y'all 🥳

The City of San Antonio and its partners are hosting a grand opening block party for Lower Broadway tomorrow Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

To celebrate the end of this construction era, the River North Block Party at 821 Broadway St. will include live music, a kids zone, and a local vendor market.

See the improvements through the funding of the 2017 Bond Project and additional funding partners like the Mid-Town TIRZ, SAWS, CPS Energy, AT&T, and SARA.

This local art museum is pushing out yet another fall exhibition called “Whitfield Lovell: Passages” on display from Wednesday, Oct. 23 to Sunday, Jan. 19 in the Tobin Exhibition Galleries.

The exhibit focuses on aspects of African American history while raising questions about identity, memory, and America’s collective heritage.

Today is the first day of early voting for the 2024 General Election in Texas. Happening now through Friday, Nov. 1, Bexar County residents can vote early at 50 polling sites around town.

Here is a breakdown of voting hours throughout the week:

🗓️ Monday, Oct. 21 to Friday, Oct. 25 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m
🗓️ Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
🗓️ Sunday, Oct. 27 from noon to 6 p.m.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in Texas followed by lung and prostate cancer. We’re here to introduce you to the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) and how the organization assists those battling the disease.
