For nine seasons, I've had the privilege of being a part of a reality TV show that's dedicated to reuniting families and helping contestants find the answers to the questions they have had their whole lives. As a drone op, on one of the 4 different production teams, my role may seem small - but being a witness to the emotional and heartwarming moments that happen in front of the camera once we start rollin, and even more behind the scenes — has been a huge blessing. This show has taken me all over the country, from coast to coast, (I need to count how many of the 50 states I’ve been in) and while we're fully engaged in the production side of things, the reality of the life-changing events happening in front of the camera always hits us all hard. It is always a heavy moment when cameras are rolling and you scan the room and everyone is quietly overcome with emotion. It's an unforgettable experience to be a part of something so meaningful and to watch people's lives change right before our eyes. Have a great weekend everyone, and remember life is short. Be happy, don’t choose to be offended by anything - spread love.
