Sad news, due to some health issues, OMD is postponing the rest of their tour. The Salt Lake City show has been rescheduled for June 6, 2025. You will likely be seeing an email from Ticketmaster today with more details.

1984 in Utah saw A LOT of feathered hair - on everyone! Senator Jake Garn went to space, Saltair was flooded (remember when the Great Salt Lake had TOO MUCH water??), and Snelgroves was a great place for a date or a family night. Oh, and if you graduated that year - it's time for a 40th class reunion! Oh, 1993. The year Utah had so much snow the Utah National Guard had to store snow in local parks and we risked our backs and our lives to shovel it off of roofs. That was also the first time Utah hosted the NBA All-Star Game, grunge ruled, and the kids from 90120 graduated high school. As it so happens, so did I and the owner of our little radio station! Grab your baby doll dresses, choker necklaces, Doc Martens, and all the flannel you can find and join me and "Lil' Matty" tonight as we travel back to 1993 on the Excellent Time Warp Adventure at 8:00pm!

It was a great year for basketball in Utah as it was the first season the Jazz played here and Salt Lake City hosted the NCAA Division 1 Men's B-ball championship. And apparently you could get a hamburger at Dee's for just 29 cents! (I forgot how terrifying that clown was!) What do YOU remember about 1979 in Utah?
