OK I have had enough! First I want to be clear I am NOT a Donald Trump supporter yet I will be voting Republican in this Presidential election. Running a small business for 50 of its 72 year existence it is naive to not understand the consumer pays all the taxes. Taxes go up, costs go up, prices go up. This is why I will vote republican.

PLEASE take to to read and understand I am not a TRUMP Supporter!

When comparing Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, I’m leaning toward Trump because of a combination of his policies, leadership style, and vision for America. Here’s a breakdown of why I see Trump as the better choice:

# # # 1. **Economic Policies**
Under Trump, the economy saw significant growth, especially in terms of job creation and wage growth. His emphasis on tax cuts and deregulation, particularly with the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, helped businesses thrive and resulted in more jobs. His approach to reducing corporate taxes also made America more competitive on the global stage.
In contrast, Harris supports more progressive policies, such as increasing taxes on corporations and the wealthy, which I believe could stifle economic growth. While her plans aim to address wealth inequality, I fear that her approach could lead to less economic freedom and hinder businesses from expanding and creating jobs.

# # # 2. **Foreign Policy and National Security**
Trump’s “America First” approach resonates with me because I believe it’s important for the U.S. to prioritize its interests. His tough stance on China, renegotiating trade deals, and emphasis on strengthening the military all align with my belief in maintaining national strength. Under his leadership, we saw the U.S. pull out of deals that weren’t beneficial, like the Iran nuclear deal, and he brokered historic peace agreements in the Middle East.
Harris, on the other hand, has supported more globalist approaches, favoring multilateral agreements and diplomacy. While diplomacy is important, I’m concerned that her policies may not prioritize American interests as strongly as Trump’s have.

# # # 3. **Immigration**
Trump’s firm stance on securing the borders and enforcing immigration laws is another reason I support him. I agree with his position that illegal immigration needs to be controlled to ensure that resources are available for legal citizens and those who enter the country lawfully. Building a strong border wall, increasing border patrol, and reforming immigration policies are steps in the right direction for maintaining national security and protecting American jobs.
Harris, in contrast, has been more lenient on immigration issues. She has supported a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and criticized border enforcement policies. While I understand her compassion for immigrants, I believe her approach could lead to weaker border control and potentially strain public services.

# # # 4. **Law and Order**
I’m voting for Trump because of his strong stance on law and order. His administration emphasized supporting law enforcement, reducing crime, and ensuring that cities and communities remain safe. The unrest seen during the summer of 2020 highlighted the importance of maintaining order, and Trump’s call for stricter measures against rioting and looting resonated with me.
Harris has been more critical of the police and has advocated for criminal justice reform. While I agree that reform is needed in certain areas, her past support for reducing funding for law enforcement and her alignment with progressive policies around policing make me question whether she can keep communities safe.

# # # 5. **Healthcare**
Trump’s focus on reducing healthcare costs, expanding healthcare options, and opposing Medicare for All is another reason I support him. His administration worked to lower prescription drug prices and allowed for more healthcare choices through reforms like expanding short-term health plans. I believe that the private sector should play a significant role in healthcare, and that Trump’s approach encourages competition and lowers costs for consumers.
Harris has been a strong advocate for expanding government-run healthcare programs, like Medicare for All, which I fear could increase taxes and reduce the quality of care. While her intentions may be to ensure everyone has access to healthcare, I’m concerned that the cost to taxpayers and the potential for longer wait times would negatively impact the overall system.

# # # 6. **Energy and Environment**
Trump’s policies have focused on energy independence, rolling back regulations on oil and gas, and promoting energy production in the U.S. I support his stance on deregulation because it has led to cheaper energy costs and job creation in the energy sector. Additionally, Trump’s approach to the Paris Climate Agreement, withdrawing the U.S. to avoid economic constraints, makes sense to me in terms of prioritizing national interests.
Harris, on the other hand, has a strong environmental agenda, advocating for the Green New Deal and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. While environmental issues are important, I worry that her policies would hurt industries like oil and gas, leading to job losses and higher energy costs.

# # # 7. **Judicial Appointments**
Trump’s appointment of conservative judges to the federal courts and the Supreme Court is another factor that influences my vote. I believe in upholding traditional values, and having a conservative judiciary ensures that the Constitution is interpreted according to its original intent. Trump’s judicial appointments have shifted the courts in a direction that aligns with my views on issues like religious freedom, gun rights, and free speech.
Harris, being more progressive, would likely support more liberal judges who may push for more government control and a broader interpretation of the Constitution. I’m concerned that her judicial philosophy could lead to rulings that infringe on individual freedoms.

# # # 8. **Vision for America**
Overall, Trump’s vision is centered around American greatness, economic prosperity, and national strength. His focus on reducing government intervention, supporting businesses, and prioritizing the interests of the American people aligns with my values. His slogan “Make America Great Again” resonates with me because I believe in the importance of national pride, economic independence, and maintaining a strong global presence.
Harris, while advocating for equality and social justice, takes a more progressive approach that I fear could lead to increased government control and economic policies that might not foster the same level of prosperity. While her vision for America is one of inclusivity, I believe Trump’s focus on economic growth, national security, and traditional values better aligns with my priorities.

In conclusion, I’m voting for Donald Trump because I believe his policies and leadership style are better suited to ensuring a strong, prosperous, and secure America. His approach to the economy, immigration, law and order, healthcare, and national security align more closely with my vision for the future of the country than Kamala Harris’s more progressive policies.
