So I have a new karaoke show starting this Wednesday at 8pm. It’s 21+ but it isn’t a bar, you can actually bring in your own alcohol. There’s a $10 fee to get in, but considering you don’t have to buy your drinks at a bar you’re actually saving money. So in saving that extra money you can give yours truly some decent $tips$.
So starting this Wednesday at 8pm. Hope to see you there.

It’s been a struggle trying to get back to some normalcy. I had a huge number of regulars who’d come out one or more times a week, that’s down to a handful. I’ve had some computer issues, but as they say in show business, and in mine, “The show must go on.”

Karaoke & FREE bingo tonight at Milk+ at 8pm. There’s no cover. Karaoke can be fun, entertaining and for a lot of singers cathartic. If you’re dealing with happy thoughts, painful or difficult memories, emotional moments, karaoke is a great release. My shows aren’t set around genres, themes or any expectations. It’s your time to sing, it doesn’t matter to me what you sing , what matters to me is that you sing what you want to sing or in some cases what you really have to sing for you, no one else.

Tuesday & Thursday nights are karaoke nights at Tailgate Tavern starting at 9pm. There’s no cover. 3550 S. State in South Salt Lake. You can order & enjoy delicious food along with your favorite beverage. Sing your favorite songs or just sing along to your favorite songs., we understand not everyone wants to perform. You’ll hear classics from Sinatra, great group songs like “Bohemian Rhapsody” & “Love Shack.” You’ll also hear one singer play a harmonica during lyric breaks in his songs.
It’s always a great time at Tailgate Tavern. So come sing your songs, meet some future friends and possibly find your new favorite dive bar.

So I DJ’d the Utah Firefighters Chili Cookoff. It’s a fundraiser to help burn victims as young as 3 go to burn camps and fund other programs associated with their recovery. With it being a rainy cold day, they raised $28,674.00. I think next year $50k isn’t out of the realm of possibility with your help and with the help of your family and friends.
You get delicious chili, made by Utah’s Firefighters.
I would like to have you all think about coming to next year’s fundraiser.

I hosted karaoke at The Tavernacle for about 14+ years and 2 at Trade Winds. I have a great selection of karaoke songs to sing. If I don’t have it I try to see if I can download it before your next turn. I don’t charge to download new songs.
You can tip to move up in the rotation, but tipping isn’t required, but is very much appreciated.

Today 11-3 @ The Shops at South Town. Fundraiser benefiting U of U Health Burn Camp Programs. Firefighters from several departments have made chili, which will be officially judged. The chili is available for sampling Afro 2 tickets. You can buy tickets at the event.
I’ll be hosting karaoke and djing the event.
