A week ago, my husband and I, both in our 60s, returned from our long-awaited vacation. It was the first time it had been just the two of us since we became grandparents.

MY BROTHER-IN-LAW ASKED ME TO RENOVATE HIS HOUSE AND REFUSED TO PAY FOR IT, BUT KARMA CAUGHT UP WITH HIM SOON.

I do house renovations for a living. My brother-in-law, who I'm not that close with, asked me to help him finish his basement — talking about adding a couple of rooms, a bathroom, a kitchenette, and wiring up a family room. I gave him a quote of $32,000, materials included.

That was a solid discount. I mean, just the bathroom work usually runs about $15,000 and his place wasn't even prepped for it.

But guess what? He NEVER paid. He always had excuses, and he'd throw around lines like, “We’re like real brothers now that you married my sister, would you ask for money from your brother?” So, I covered the materials and paid my crew out of my own pocket.

It’s been two years now, and I stopped bringing up the money topic, knowing he wouldn’t pay. But just last week, he called me, all mad, screaming, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Why can't I... ⬇️

After parking the plane, the captain and his first officer followed protocol by waiting for all passengers to disembark before leaving the cockpit. When it was their turn to leave, he opened the cockpit door and saw the flight purser talking to a man who refused to leave the plane.

On my husband's birthday, I heard the doorbell ring and rushed to the door, only to be greeted with a cake delivery. I hadn't ordered anything, but my hands were so full with preparations for the party that I just signed up for the delivery and popped the cake in the fridge, thinking it might be a surprise present from someone.

MY NEIGHBORS SNEAKED INTO MY POOL FOR THEIR 4TH OF JULY PARTY — THEY WEREN'T READY FOR MY RESPONSE

My entitled neighbors decided it was perfectly fine to use my pool while I was away. They just strolled into my backyard with swimsuits and food, ready to have the time of their lives on my property. Mind you, these are the same neighbors who called the cops on me several times during the pool construction for "disturbing the peace."
When I saw the footage from my security cameras, I felt my eye twitch. As soon as I got back home, I marched over to their door to confront them.
“UGH, STOP BEING A DRAMA QUEEN. YOU BARELY USE THE POOL ANYWAYS,” my neighbor scoffed. That’s when I decided to put the cameras to good use.
