Initial reports of a shooting last night at Krispy Kreme on West Innes Street had the incident occurring at 10:14 p.m. but the shooting actually occurred at 3:10 a.m. Saturday morning.
Salisbury police were still on scene at 7 a.m. One victim went to the hospital with gunshot wounds but police confirm his injuries were not life threatening.

In a separate earlier incident there was a shooting at 1 a.m. this morning on Earnhardt Street in East Spencer involving three victims, one of whom was taken to Baptist Hospital because of the serious nature of injury. Police say there was reportedly a party at the location. Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into the East Spencer shooting.

This story has been updated to correct the time on the Salisbury shooting. Two separate, as yet unrelated, shootings occurred overnight in two different communities, according to police. At 1 a.m. East Spencer police responded to a shooting on Earnhardt Street where a party had been going on. Police...
