Jewelry is a lifelong calling and passion for JESSICA SAMPSON in Booth 98-99 at the Saline Spring Craft Show on March 16, 2024. “I've been immersed in the industry since 2007, doing everything from sales to diamond grading, watchmaking to appraisals,” says Jessica. During these experiences she learned one main thing that ties every piece of jewelry together- it is an immensely personal item, a celebration of individuality. Every piece helps to tell a story, highlight a journey, relive an emotion, or pause a moment in time. Jessica founded Untamed Roots Co as a way to celebrate that uniquely personal experience at a much more affordable price point. Using high quality materials, she loves that people are able to celebrate their personality and their unique story every time they put on one of my pieces. Visit this booth at Saline Middle School, 7190 N Maple Road, Saline from 8 am-3:30 pm.

While officially becoming a business in 2004, PAT STONE and her daughter started doing craft shows with their toffee in 2014. Her daughter was originally inspired by a newspaper article about a teenager starting businesses and Pat was always interested in having her own business. Remembering her grandmother’s toffee recipe, neighbors and friends placed orders for the holidays. It snowballed from there. Today, they expanded from chocolate and expanded to milk, dark and white chocolate varieties but the toffee has not changed. Just four simple ingredients – butter, sugar, chocolate and pecans – come together to delight with a tender crunch! New to their inventory is Toffee Nut Crumbles! Their crumbles are mostly nuts that fall off when we break the toffee by hand, but there are little pieces of chocolate and toffee mixed in which makes a great topping for ice cream and addition to baked goods. Visit Booth 119 on Saturday, 3.16 at the Saline Spring Craft Show opening at 8 am.

New in the 2024 Saline Spring Craft Show on March 16 is PAMELA LEMONS with her fine chainmaille and fused argentum silver jewelry. She always tries to incorporate the jump rings from her chainmaille weaving into her fused jewelry. Pamela designs her jewelry to cross fashion trend lines, allowing her jewelry to be worn for years to come. It’s the jewelry you wear when you can’t decide what to wear. “My first home décor was HOME pillows and this year, I created a Mackinac Island pillow that I'm excited to premier at the Saline Spring Craft Show on March 16,” says MARY HAMMERSTEIN who started her business "Sew Fun in Michigan" in 2016. Mittens were her first product, but she expanded to pillows appliqued with the silhouette of Michigan. As a lifelong resident of Michigan, Mary said “I wanted to display the pride I have in our beautiful state.” She also started to applique sets of potholders with that Michigan silhouette as well, one potholder with the lower peninsula and one with the UP. And has now added Cherry Therapacs which are hot/cold therapy packs made with Traverse City cherry pits! These are wonderful for all your aches and pains and the cherry pits retain the heat better than rice! For your four legged friends, Mary will have catnip toys and a very original p**p bag holders in Booth 76.

A new addition to the show with pottery is JOSIE SEVERTSON. In the late 90's, she apprenticed with a professional potter in Oregon. After a move, Josie had a 20 year hiatus to raise her children, and now returned to making functional and decorative ware, wheel thrown, glazed and fired to 2200 degrees. She prefers to make functional wares (mugs, bowls, vases) that can be used and handled -- a beautiful mug for your morning coffee starts the day off right! The clay body is white stoneware, and is dishwasher and microwave safe, meant to be used and enjoyed. Josie will be rolling out her work in Booth 97, Saline Middle School on March 16, 2024.
