Well, we are about cleaned up and swept after the visit with the West Texas Exiles. We had so much fun with this band and are hopeful they will come back when they find themselves in our neighborhood of Salida Colorado. Fans and followers, I had to take a FB break, I continue to do my Radio Shows weekly live from KHEN LP 106.9 FM Salida, Colorado
I do two, Bacon Lubbock Tomato Sandwich w/ Rick White and a KHEN morning show Sunny Side Up w/ rick white, Thursdays 8:00 AM MT. Live, I play music and speak of local happenings in this jewel of a central rockies mountain town.
Onward...I am very excited about the second release from Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore. TEXICALI due out later this month on Yep Rock! We are so fortunate these two have collaborated, their first offering "Downey to Lubbock" 2018 was a hit with me and many others of us.
I hope this finds all well going into Summer 2024

I have been busy, a wonderful visit to Austin TX during SXSW.
For me its like a kid in a candy store.
I saw these West Texas Exiles a number of times, if you get the opportunity to see them, GO, they are HOT!
While there I went to the Music America exhibit at the LBJ presidential library on the UT campus, a very nice exhibit sponsored by the Bruce Springsteen Fanpage archive foundation
very nicely done, if you are in Austin it runs until August 2024.
And Willie Nelson, we are moving into his 91st birthday month.
I will be featuring him on my shows in the coming weeks on

UP MY GAME...
My New Years resolution, and I plan to keep it, just watch...
Last year was a mix of highs and lows, good mostly, with a few
challenging events, but so many positives to be grateful for.
I am grateful for A-Church Salida CO. A listening room,come to one of our shows, you will not be disappointed, there was a good one recently, The Rifters, a class act.
