Rt 111 and Ermer Rd work begins on Tuesday.

⚠️TEMPORARY ROAD IMPROVEMENT 🚧

Rt 111 and Ermer Rd

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 28, 2025, the Town of Salem’s contractor K5 Corporation will be restriping and installing delineators at the intersection of Ermer Road and NH-111.

Work is weather dependent and will take one day to complete. The road will remain open to traffic and police details will be present.

This work will restrict traffic from turning left or going straight from both sides of Ermer Road onto NH-111, vehicles will be required to turn right only.

The State previously adjusted the speed limit to 45 mph along the NH-111 corridor in Salem. These temporary improvements will be provided by the Town prior to a permanent solution of a rotary, which is currently working through engineering design and permitting.

Please drive carefully in the area and obey all traffic laws and signs.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – Zachary’s Crossing Road🚧

The Town will close Zachary’s Crossing Road from Route 111 to Autumn Woods Road starting Monday, October 27, 2025, to replace a large, failed culvert.

-Start Date: Monday, October 27, 2025
- Estimated Duration: Two weeks

Please be aware that the schedule is dependent on weather conditions. A detour route will be established; refer to the attached map for details. Message boards will be set up at the worksite to keep residents informed.
