Our web and email host had a data center failure in the early, early morning hours Tuesday. As a result, our entire better newspapers company’s emails are not operational as well as our websites and e-editions. As of this morning, they do not have an ETA of when service will be restored. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the print quality of the graduation page in the 5/17/23 issue was not up to our expectations. We will reprint it in the 5/24/23 edition of the paper. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

UPDATE: The Ste. Genevieve High Emeralds Dance team took 4th place today at the state dance championships in Kansas City, Mo. It was their first-ever appearance in the competition.
