Early release Friday, Jan. 10 for Fort Leonard Wood personnel

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Jan. 10, 2025) — Due to road conditions, an early, staggered release for non-mission essential personnel, as previously identified by supervisors, is authorized for Friday, Jan. 10.

Please check with your immediate supervisor for more details. North and South gates should be used; Polla Road will close at 10:30 a.m.

Supervisors are encouraged to manage early release beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 10.

U.S. Army Fort Leonard Wood

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Pulaski County, Missouri, effective 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9th through 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 10th, 2025. The overnight low temperature will be near 26 degrees, with snow moving into the area between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Total snow accumulation is expected to be between 3 and 5 inches, with no ice expected. Due to snowy road conditions, travel will be difficult, and hazardous conditions could impact Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
