We successfully energized another circuit from our Holloway substation, restoring power to approximately 50 homes. The affected area includes 7th and Holloway, extending to Murray Lane, up to 10th Street, Homelife Plaza Drive, and north to Forum Drive and 18th Street. This also enabled us to power up Presbyterian Manor and the Centre. Each circuit we activate frees up a crew to work in another part of town.

Work continues along Highway 72 and throughout the southeast corner of town.

For anyone wanting to help the victims of the recent tornado, Gahr Trucking and Equipment is serving as a local drop-off location for new, non-perishable items. Your donations can make a huge difference in helping those affected rebuild and recover.

Needed Items:
Canned goods & dry foods
Hygiene products
Baby supplies (diapers, wipes, formula)
Cleaning supplies
Bottled water & sports drinks
First Aid Supplies

SO MANY local restaurants, churches, and organizations have been preparing and donating meals for first responders, line men, and community members that are not able to cook at home right now.

It’s absolutely incredible.

Let’s use this post to help recognize them.

When it’s time to take your family out to eat, PLEASE remember our local businesses that step up and help out when our community needs it.

I plan to donate money to a few of these local restaurants to help cover the food costs that they so quickly offered to donate. If you are willing to do the same, I’m sure it would be appreciated. ❤️

Dear Bulldog Families,

We know many of you have experienced losses during the storms this evening in our community. We hope you are safe. There is significant damage to structures across the district and we ask that you please avoid driving near school buildings due to debris and downed power lines. We will keep you informed as we learn more about the impact of the damage.

Thank you to our law enforcement, first responders, linemen, and other emergency personnel working hard to keep us safe and restore our region.
