The Raptor Run may not be the biggest baddest race around town, but dang it we love doing this. It’s truly such a special event.

Every year we see familiar faces and new ones alike come together to support Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and it warms our hearts.

Thank you to and .productions for all the hard work that was put in over the last few months to make this happen. Thank you to for cleaning the preserve up after Hurricane Milton in time for us all to enjoy the race! And thanks to everyone who came out!

Tyler and I are approaching two incredible years with Peli Productions, and what a journey it has been! During this time, I’ve learned so much and experienced things I never imagined possible.

From opening a stunning photo studio to facing the challenges of Hurricane Helene, rebuilding stronger than ever, and traveling internationally to numerous music festivals, our growth has been nothing short of remarkable.

Every day feels like a dream come true, and I am truly grateful for this amazing experience!

Which is why I am so excited to share my first spooky mom and daughter shoot I did with my amazing friend Sarah 🫶 I love how these came out and can’t wait to do more in the future. This was our second shoot with them and it’s such an honor to help them make memories that will last forever.

Meet Caprice, a 28-year-old (practically) Florida native on a transformative journey of self-discovery. A jack of all trades, she thrives on connecting with individuals who embrace non-traditional paths. As an empathetic introvert, she’s often been hypersexualized, but she’s determined to reclaim her narrative: “I want to take this back to myself and shine a light that isn’t sexualized, just soft and feminine.”

Her quest for softness is deeply significant. “I’ve always been called strong and resilient,” she reflects. As the eldest sibling, she felt the need to set an example and often thought, “I was still living as if I had to take care of the world.” Now, Caprice is learning that her primary responsibility is to herself. “I’m at a point where I only have a responsibility to myself,” she explains, something her mom would say often that she is fully embracing.

Inspired by the ‘black girl soft life’ movement, Caprice is redefining her identity and allowing herself to be softer. “I’ve been allowing softness for myself and black women like me and to other women as well,” she shares. Each year, she embraces a new challenge for her birthday, and this year’s focus is on balancing her energies and nurturing her softer side.

Despite the challenges she faces, Caprice sees them as opportunities for growth. “I’ve definitely noticed some resistance,” she admits, but she’s committed to evolving. Looking ahead, her aspirations are clear: “I want to step into spaces that allow me to expand on my creativity and feminine energy.” She hopes to connect with like-minded individuals along the way. “Together, we can create spaces for everyone exploring their soft side,” she envisions.
