Happy 1 Year Podiversary to us! One year ago today was Stephanie and Nell’s first official meeting as the BoozySitters Club. We couldn’t have imagined what the past year would bring when we sat down to record that first episode, and we definitely couldn’t have come this far without the incredible characters that Ann M. Martin created. We’ve taken some detours (hello, Boozy Book Club, beach pajamas, and Drag Minute), but whenever we come back to the OG BSC we remember why this series is the focus of this podcast. Our Girl Ann is a literary genius and we couldn’t have gotten through a global pandemic without her.

Thanks to our fellow pandemic podcasters and IG friends who have shown us support and friendship, to our IRL friends and family who said “a podcast? I mean, sure…I guess I’ll listen,” and then did, and to our favorite people in the world, our Tens Of Listeners. We hope 2021 will be the year we break that double digit barrier!

- Dash of absinthe ⁠
⁠
- 1 oz gin⁠
⁠
- 1 oz Lillet Blanc (or Cocchi Americano, dry vermouth)⁠
⁠
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice⁠
⁠
- 1 oz orange liqueur⁠
⁠
- Garnish: orange peel⁠
⁠
Rinse a chilled martini or coupe glass with absinthe.⁠
⁠
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the remaining ingredients into the cocktail shaker and shake well.⁠
⁠
Strain into the rinsed glass⁠
⁠
Garnish with orange peel and enjoy!⁠
⁠

To revive your own co**se (recipe: )

* Dash absinthe
* 1 ounce gin
* 1 ounce Lillet Blanc (to be like Stephanie) or Cocchi Americano (to be like Nell)
* 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
* 1 ounce orange liqueur (Cointreau)
* Garnish: orange peel

Rinse a chilled cocktail glass with absinthe and toss the excess. Pour the remaining ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into the rinsed glass, and garnish with an orange peel.
