Dogs like Lola are why we do what we do. 🥹🫶🏻
When she first came to us, Lola was fearful, skittish, and exhibited unwanted behaviors like counter surfing, leash pulling, chasing cats, barking, and jumping on people. 🫣
Not even halfway through our program, Lola became a totally different dog. Now, she walks beautifully on a leash, no longer chases cats, and doesn’t counter surf! Her owners can take her to their kids’ sporting events and camping trips, and they constantly receive compliments on what a good girl she is. 🥰

“Please, please, please, don’t prove ‘em right” 😭🥲
Who has felt the shame of taking their reactive dog on a walk? 🙋🏻♀️ You either make a scene and run out of there 💨 or profusely apologize for your dog’s poor behavior to every unsuspecting person that walks by.
Maybe you can’t even bring your dog on walks because it’s gotten so out of hand, and you feel guilty ❤️🩹
Let us be the first to tell you that fixing these walks doesn’t start ON the walk. They start at home 🏡. They start with the right state of mind, obedience protocols, and most importantly, leadership.
If any of the above hits close to home, don’t worry. A LOT of us have been there, but it doesn’t have to be your life forever.

Here is some wonderful footage and feedback from Charlie’s mom regarding the e-collar 🙌🏻
It’s all about baby steps! Soon Charlie will be completely unfazed by these triggers and living a wonderful carefree life off leash. ❤️
Tools are very much a polarizing and stigmatized topic within the dog training community so we love to show the positives whenever we can. 🐾
✨Off leash reliability✨ Having an off leash dog is truly one of the most rewarding parts of having a dog. It opens a whole new world as an owner. Even if off leash adventures like hiking isn’t an option, you can still utilize off leash dependability in everyday life! Say you’re at Home Depot and need to go grab something heavy… Or you have your dog with you at a cafe and need to go grab your order when it’s ready. Also if you’re like me and try to grab EVERY shopping bag in one trip… no problem! That’s why we instill such a solid obedience foundation so it makes all aspects of life with your dog easier. 🩵
Have you ever said “Man, I wish my dog was that well behaved!” Or “My dog could never go to a coffee shop!” Those are some of the most common things we hear when taking our dogs out into the public.
Now let me ask you… what’s stopping you? Would you rather live with an unruly dog who basically runs your life 🫨 or a well behaved dog that you can take just about anywhere? 😇
To us, the choice is clear as day. We’re here to support and guide you through this process to make it at seamless as possible.
If you’re ready to make the change comment “I’m ready!” and we can get you booked for a free 30 minute consultation call. 🫶🏻
Training any command comes in stages. In our previous video of the place command, it showcased the very beginning steps. Non-verbal body languages cues, leash pressure, and positive reinforcement.Once your dog gets the hang of that it’s time to introduce the word. With this step you do the same thing as before (repetitive, I know!), but incorporate the word beforehand. It varies dog by dog, slowly but surely your dog will start associating the word “place” with “Oh, I know what this means! 💡 It means go to place!” Personally, this stage is my favorite because you can actually see how smart your dog is! It’s great to see them work through their own confusion and come to the correct conclusion on their own. And if they don’t, that’s okay! That’s why you the owner, or the trainer is there to provide any needed guidance. Once they’ve gotten the hang of it there’s two BIG 🔑 factors when continuing. 1. Make it challenging! — Create more distance, change your body positions, be in an entirely different room! 2. Training isn’t linear. Give your dog some wins! — Your dog may be doing great but sometimes backslides happen! Training can be frustrating and confusing at times for dogs, so make sure you know how to read your dog. If it’s becoming less engaged, or dragging its feet, make it a little easier and let them win! They’ll get a pep in their step, trust me!Are you going to try the place command? ⬇️⬇️
Place is truly a wonderful quality of life command that we always recommend and teach in our foundational training. There’s nothing worse than having a dog under your feet while cooking dinner, doing chores, or trying to answer the door. Teaching place allows you the freedom of not getting tripped up by your dog constantly and also teaches them they have their own place where they can just relax. Place command also inadvertently helps teach break (the release command), duration down stays, and helps build confidence in nervous/anxious dogs who have separation anxiety.
Thresholds are a major part of foundation work. It sets the tone and creates immediate structure for dogs. Creating clear boundaries for your dogs creates a fun, fair, and safe environment for your dog to thrive in. Threshold work starts on day one and becomes a patterned behavior that provides quality of life to you and your dogs.
