The journey of brand identity building will take us to places we may not expect. Who we are as a personal or corporate brand is centered on the intentional creation of feelings in others and ourselves.
When we lead teams or individuals through brand identity work, we have to dive into data. Who are we serving? What does the competitive landscape look like? How are we unique? And many more questions that our brains can wrap around and play with. But once we understand the playing field, there is nowhere else to go but inward for the answer to WHO am I and HOW do I make an impact?
The most authentic expression of who we are as a brand resides within our hearts. Not only do we need to get clear on how we feel about our brand, but we have to design carefully how we want others to feel about our brand as well.
It takes bravery to lead with our hearts. It requires a level of vulnerability and intention that we need to be prepared for when we set out on this journey.
In 2024, we are creating these safe spaces for heart work to happen.
