Video production company in the Twin Cities that specializes in promotional videos for companies and events. Very busy. What makes me a media expert?

My goal is to showcase each business, bring awareness to their brand and keep them relevant in today’s market. Wiener Dog Owner, Entrepreneur, Sports Reporter, Videographer, Digital Marketer, Social Media Guru, Global Citizen, Sports Fan, Wife (Not in that order...) As you can tell from my job titles above, I stay busy. Being a long-time sports reporter and videographer shaped me into the business

woman I am today — I know the inner-workings of social and traditional media, its many strengths and shortcomings, and how to break through people’s cluttered news feeds to make a measurable impact. I know how to make a tweet pack as much punch as a 5-minute video. I know what it takes to secure ongoing and positive coverage for your issues, message and brand. I know how to broaden and diversify outreach into digital and traditional media. Even though I’m a reporter by trade, I’ll always be a PR person at heart. Just as I enjoy building lasting connections between fans and their favorite team, I now do the same for businesses. Whether it’s shooting for you at a live event, editing a video, growing your social media platform, or helping with media relations, I’m your gal. Well, after graduating from Creighton University in Omaha, I moved back to my hometown of Kansas City to join Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, formerly known as Metro Sports. I started as the high school freelance sideline reporter before working full-time in Lincoln, Nebraska, where I spent three and a half years reporting on the Cornhuskers and Omaha Storm Chasers. Wherever the Huskers were, I was close behind. In June 2014, TWC transferred me back to KC. I spent the majority of my time covering the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and local KC high school athletics. Whether it was reporting about the Kansas City Chiefs’ first playoff victory in two decades or bringing Royals fans inside the clubhouse for a rowdy World Series celebration 29 years in the making, I loved every minute of being a sports reporter, videographer, and generator of social media content. Covering some of the greatest teams in the world meant I got to cover some pretty cool events too … the 2015 ALDS, ALCS, & World Series; 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Sweet 16 & Elite Eight; 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional Tournament; 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame; 2016 AFC Divisional Round of Playoffs, 2016 Royals Spring Training; 2015-2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Big 12 Championship; 2014-2016 Kansas Shrine Bowls; Big 10 media days; 2012 and 2013 Cotton Bowl; 2014 Gator Bowl, 2012 Big Ten Championship; 2011-2014 College World Series. When I’m not freelancing, you can find me watching/attending sporting events, shopping, traveling, hanging out with my family, friends and my dog, drinking coffee, attending any social event I’m invited (or invite myself)to and watching a lot of movies… I mean, A LOT.

8 years in and I have a team I can count on. A team that allows me to focus on the creative side of the business so I can do what I enjoy most: connecting with clients and sharing their story. 🎉 Happy Birthday to one of my absolute favorite people, Amy (our partner photographer)!

Amy has been with me since almost the very beginning—just four months into starting this company—and I couldn’t imagine this journey without her. From day one, she’s been an incredible ally, teacher, and friend. So much of what I’ve learned (and what this company has grown into) is thanks to her talent, support, and loyalty.

Some of my favorite days are the ones we’re on set together—creating, collaborating, and cracking up in the process . There’s no one I’d rather tackle a shoot with!

Whoa, what a year! Although this year was one for the books it was filled with many highs and lows. But, that’s what entrepreneurship is all about, right? Here are some of the moments that really stood out:

🎥 Did over 120 video shoots
✈️ Traveled for 8 different video projects
🙌 Added our new marketing assistant, Jenna
🏆 Won a damn Emmy!
🎬 Won Best Videographer for Best of Awards
🏡 Sold our first house + started building our dream home
🎓 Wrapped our oldest’s first year of kindergarten & sent our second kiddo off to kindergarten
🚜 Did a video project with Chip Gaines
🚗Traveled to film a conference with over 21,000 attendees and brought an entire team with me!
📽️ Watched 3 mini-documentaries I produced air—and 1 was nominated for an Emmy!
🏈 Watched my Kansas City Chiefs win a Super Bowl
🏖️ Took our kids to the beach not once but twice

This year was a wild ride and honestly, I have never been more grateful for coffee. It certainly hasn’t all been easy. In fact, it’s probably been one of the most challenging years as a business owner. But the highlights made it all worth it. Forever grateful for my family, my team and this entire FCM community that has cheered me on every step of the way.

Falco Creative Media won the 2024 Best Of Awards as Best Videographer! This is simply the best way to end a great year and I’m so proud of how far this biz has come and the talented team we have built. What makes this award so incredibly special is that it was voted on by the Twin Cities community and I’m forever thankful for that. I never could have imagined when I moved to Minnesota 8 years ago, how special this community would become to me. You all have supported, loved and embraced Falco Creative Media and that’s what keeps me going. You are part of this FCM family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤️

🏆 Why this Emmy means so much…

🎥: I have been a videographer for half my life, majoring in television. It’s part of who I am. This day has always been a dream of mine.

👯‍♀️: this is a great reminder that I have chosen to work with some of the most inspirational and talented coworkers, clients & partners through the years.

😴: it makes the late nights, occasional weekends and long, physical days worth it.

📺: you helped make one of my biggest dreams come true by putting your trust and faith in me. ‘Thank you’ will never be enough.

❤️: My parents have dedicated so much to my (amazing, loving) siblings and me. They gave me the best possible education they could from Kindergarten through college. And have stood by my side being my biggest cheerleaders since day 1. They are what every parent should aspire to be - showing unconditional love, support and pride.

👦🏻👦🏻👶🏻: I am excited my boys get to see a mom who won’t give up on her dreams. They are my everything and everything I do is for them. Maybe one day one of them will join this crazy biz with me🤞🏼

👩‍❤️‍👨: has sacrificed just as much as I have when it comes to Falco Creative Media. Understanding my late nights, traveling and crazy schedule. Heck, we endured 6 years of long distance so we could both pursue our careers. This best friend of mine has cheered me on and supported me since I was 21 years old. I share this milestone with him.

Thank you to my siblings, in-laws, family and friends for everything. I still feel like I’m just getting started and can’t wait to see what the future continues to hold for Falco Creative Media✨

So, last night I went to a restaurant thinking I was having dinner with my mom and 2 sisters… my sister escorts me into a party room and SURPRISE! My sweet mama planned an entire surprise dinner with my family and girlfriends to celebrate my first ever Emmy 🥰

It was such a special night surrounded by people who have supported and cheered me on over the years. Friends who have been in my life since I was 7 years old. It was an unforgettable evening that reminded me how truly blessed I am for this incredible support system.

Of course my mom went all out with the decor (I was having too much fun to capture it all). Talk about the best mom ever🥰 I can’t wait for you to meet her on Saturday!

Meet the new FCM team! After almost 7 years of pouring everything into this business as a solo venture, I realized it was time to grow. Bringing Molly on board a year ago was an absolute game-changer, and now, I’m excited to expand even more!

Growth isn’t just about my business—it’s about continuing to give my clients the personal attention they deserve and delivering videos on time, every time. I’ve been running full speed for the last couple of years, and I knew I had to make a change to keep things moving forward. I’m not even close to burnout, but I’m making sure I never get there. I love this work too much to ever let that happen! So, here we are—the new FCM crew, ready for what’s next (and ready to keep asking for help and growing on the video side)💪
