Producer Michael McIntee will be speaking at this showing of The UpTake's movie "How Love Won - The Fight for Marriage Equality in Minnesota" this Friday, Oct 11, 7pm at the Mann Cinema 8 in Grand Rapids, MN to support Itasca Pride. You may have read how Itasca Pride got pushback for their first ever Pride event this June from people who wanted to "protect the children." Spread the word about this fundraising event so love can overcome hate.

Itasca Pride faced protests this year in Grand Rapids, MN. We're responding to hate with love with a special screening of "How Love Won" on Oct 11 in Grand Rapids.

Young people will be providing a new perspective in reporting on the legislature this session as part of a project between The UpTake and Bridgemakers.
