Of the North Shelby County Area were recently arrested and charged with various ranging from Sexual Misconduct with a minor to Child Exploitation and possession/ distribution of Child Po*******hy.

They are currently being held at the Hancock County Jail.

Since I was around 13 he’s tried to get at me and find ways to try and get to come over I live in fountain city for about a year and he would chase me around anytime he seen me. I stopped going anywhere without my cousin because he would follow me home or try to. He would chase me or my cousins anytime we would walk to the park or to a friends house. And we aren’t the only ones that’s ever had to deal with him. He’s a child predator nh he hasn’t been stopped.

Ts is SICK. How are you gonna be 30 wanting to do a LITTLE GIRL. Someone needs to actually do something about this it’s sick.

And on top of that he likes to beat woman! Multiple people have posted about it in Richmond groups. For years I hear people talk about how he’s tried getting with them since they was 11-15. HES A CHILD PREDATOR AND HAS GOT A LITTLE GIRL PREGNANT. she is 16. SIXTEEN. PREGNANT BY A THIRTY YEAR OLD

Illegal Dumping: Rush County —-> Carthage.

During the overnight hours someone with a heavy flow and a wide set sn**ch decided it was okay to dump their LAZ BOY and their mattress on the side of 800 N near Walnut Ridge just south of Carthage near the Sewer Plant.

This is absolutely disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I-74 Eastbound at milepost 167.5 is closed due to a fatal accident investigation.

All traffic must exit at State Route 1 ( Exit 164) and is only allowed to proceed North to US-52 at Cedar Grove and then proceed east through New Trenton back to I-74 at West Harrison. ( Exit 169)

** please be advised that State Road one is still closed at Perfect North Slopes and State Route 46 is closed over Whitewater River.

We’re looking into reports of a Dump Truck being ran off the road by another vehicle near Milhousen on Monday.

We’re looking for any and all information on the case. If the victim driver sees this or knows them, have them reach out to us.

Update: Incident involving Shelby Eastern Schools ( Waldron Campus) Bus #5.

An incident occurred earlier in the week where a SES bus pulled out in front of traffic on Route 9 near Wilson’s Corner.

This was well documented on Social Media, and other forums as well. Many people reached out to the School Superintendent and Transportation Director (including us) to look into the situation.

We got a reply from Superintendent Hitchcock over the situation.

“Good evening,

We treated yesterdays incident with our standard accident protocol response, even though thankfully, there was not an accident.

We pulled the driver from the route so we could have time to invesitage the comments on social media and compare them to the actual events that occurred. We interviewed the driver, the students, and the individual who made the original comment on Facebook to draw factual conclusions about the incident

We take the safety of our students very seriously and our drivers know our expectations. Our drivers are great people who care deeply about their students and would never intentionally put them in harms way. They are however human, and capable of mistakes, just the same as anyone else driving a vehicle.

We cannot discuss or share what or if any disciplinary action was taken against any of our employees.

Not knowing the outcome from the end of the superintendent is not uncommon and is a standard practice not just within the school, but just in general.

I’m sure we will hear what the outcome was in the coming weeks and days as word comes around. 

We also are very glad that no one was hurt, and that we hope that this is a lesson for everyone to drive carefully and defensively.

Bus #5. Being the cause of a very serious near miss accident at Wilson’s Corner & Route 9 area yesterday.

We’ve reached out to Transportation Director Katrina Falk & Superintendent Todd Hitchcock for questions.
