MIV’S BOUTIQUE focuses on handmade accessories, personally handpicked designs, and sewn by Miv. We started our focus on hair scrunchies for it’s simplicity, timeless beauty, and essential that it can do to accentuate a look, while keeping your hair in place. Meet the founder:
Who is "Miv"? Miv is a nickname given to me, my actual name is Mary. I am HMong American. Growing up I admit
I was a crybaby. In order to get me to stop crying, my mother would always say "Stop crying or else a cat is going to come by and lick your tears." This always puzzled me and confused me, which did get me to stop crying. This is how my family started to call me by the name "Miv", which in HMong translates to "cat". Our story:
In 2016, after finishing college, I wanted to start a small business as a hobby. My sister-in-law showed me how to make cute plush toys with felt. I have always been a crafty person, loved making things, and sewing. I started making and selling plush toys. After about six months, I decided to go and teach English abroad in South Korea. I had planned on staying for 2 years maximum, but ending up staying for 5 years because I fell in love with the food, the people, and the lifestyle. I returned early of 2021 back to America, thinking about what I wanted to do. Thinking, this is the only time in my life that I could throw myself completely into some thing I have always been passionate about. I dived myself back into my dream of making crafts as a small business, but this time as full time. I found I loved making scrunchies, especially the large scrunchies that could sit on top of my head and hide my messy, unshapely hair bun. And that's how it all started. I make all the scrunchies, I test out all the fabrics and materials and if I am absolutely not proud of something, I refuse to publish it or sell it. That's my perfectionist side coming out. I put a lot of time and effort into everything I make. I hope you come to find them useful, beautiful, and fall in love with my items as well. All about MIV'S BOUTIQUE:

All our scrunchies and products are carefully and handcrafted by Miv. We pay special attention to detail and meticulously always try to provide and produce an item that you and we would be proud of. Scrunchie Size
We specialize in a variety of scrunchie sizes. We currently carry large, medium, small size. Large is what got us all started with the scrunchie sewing business. Large is an oversized scrunchie size, larger than life. Women Owned Small Business
