Lumberjack fall sports practices started today. First games are August 24 for soccer and volleyball. Football opens at home August 30th vs Sandpoint.

We have spots available for your business to be a sponsor on our Lumberjack Sports broadcasts. You receive advertising for your business and show your support for the Lumberjacks.

Also still looking to see if any business is interested in being the first sponsors of a online stream from us. We need a few sponsors so we can get KOFE on the web for all to tune in to.

One more item is that over the years we have had family members of athletes donate/ contribute to our broadcasts. Most have not wanted to be mentioned. If there is friends, family or community members that appreciate what we do and would like to contribute to us this year we are open to that. We havent quite come up with a name for it yet but something like "Friends of Lumberjacks on KOFE". Those that contribute or donate will receive mentions during broadcasts if they would like. This is open to familys and individual community members, no businesses. Reach out to us if interested.

Get your athletic forms filled out or you can’t practice.

Parents and Athletes paperwork needs to be done ASAP... practice starts tomorrow here's what I just received today from the AD:

A few athletes have completed their forms but not their parents. They cannot practice unless a parent has submitted their forms. If only a parent has submitted, they can practice but we need to remind the athlete to log on to skyward and complete their forms.

As always, if they do not have a physical they cannot practice.

Parents can continue to submit forms online in their skyward account, they can also print forms off the district website under athletics, or pick up a packet from the district office. Some athletes will physically hand in their forms tomorrow and that is ok.

St. Maries Paul Bunyan Days is almost here and we talked with Aaron Nelson about this years events over Labor Day weekend. We will air that interview Wednesday August 8th (tomorrow) at 8am and noon. We will possibly re-air it at least one other time prior to Labor Day Weekend.
