Maybe what you really need is a mindset shift. So many of my business owning friends have said they feel weird about posting on social media, and I get it. It can feel odd to post and open yourself up to being judged by friends and strangers online. But, your social media is for YOU and YOUR business. One of the biggest hurdles to overcome is the fear of being perceived. Once you do that, plus posting consistently, it will start to feel normal. I think a lot of us forget that this is SOCIAL media. The whole point is to connect with others! If you’re in the “I feel weird about this” club, start there. For your next post, create from the intention of “How can I connect with people?” instead of “How can I go viral?” Or “How can I get as many likes as possible?”. Prioritize connection. Client Spotlight • Cafe Belle Epoque • I’ve been working with my client Diana since she moved to St. Joe with her incredible boozy gourmet chocolate business, 80 Days Cafe. When she bought Cafe Belle Epoque in October, we transferred our media efforts to the cafe. Cafe Belle Epoque is truly a GEM of downtown St. Joe 📍 Every single item on their menu is made from scratch, sourced locally when possible, and absolutely delicious. They even have a special every Thursday, their Cuisine Adventures, that feature global flavors from Head Chef Diana’s impressive cuisine background. We are lucky to have this unique gourmet cafe in town! Not only is their food and atmosphere amazing, but they understand that their efforts are best focused on their craft.
