CAMP HAVEN was created for kids 8-14 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. At camp, they come together and bond as well as learn how to heal! Thank you Camp Haven for having me and to Morgan, JJ, Brenley and Bella, thank you for being so brave and sharing your stories of loss and healing.

When I go out to do a story, 9 out 10 times I am setting up the equipment, intiating the interview and editing for the complete story (broadcast and digital). Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A man of courage and determination. One who looked adverse circumstances in the eye and chose to fight with his voice for the rights and freedoms of black people in America and the overall togetherness of people everywhere. Yesterday, MidCity Excellence - MCE Community Learning Center, Inc. hosted their 10th annual MLK Solutions Summit and I was honored to see kids in St. Joseph be equipped with the tools for a successful future through this program. I saw their confidence, articulation, knowledge and most importantly their DREAMS to be anything they wanted.
