The Merneptah Stele, also known as the Israel Stele, is an inscription by the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Merneptah (reigned 1213โ€“1203 BC). It"s significant because it contains the earliest known mention of the name "Israel" in any ancient Egyptian text. The inscription describes Merneptah"s military victories and mentions defeating various peoples, including Israel. It"s considered an important historical document for understanding the ancient Near East.
This passage is the earliest extra-biblical reference to the term โ€œIsrael.โ€ Itโ€™s crucial because it confirms the presence of a group or entity called โ€œIsraelโ€ in Canaan during this period. The mention of Israel alongside other established peoples and cities in Canaan suggests that by the late 13th century BC, Israel was already a recognizable entity.
The relevant section of the inscription reads:
โ€œPlundered is the Canaan with every evil, All lands are united and pacified. Those who were in turmoil are subdued by the King of Upper and Lower Egyptโ€ฆ Israel is laid waste and his seed is not;โ€

"Ginger," one of the oldest existing Egyptian mummies, dates back over 5500 years. This mummy belonged to a young man who died at the age of 19, believed to be due to a knife wound in the back. Of particular interest, a tattoo of a bull can be seen on his right arm, symbolizing power and virility. This ancient figurative tattoo is one of the earliest known in the world. "Ginger" is on display at the British Museum, where it has been exhibited for more than a century.

Roman Bridge near Eski, Mosul, Iraq.

Similar in shape to a rainbow, it is one of the countless bridges built of stone blocks or brick. The majority was made up of arches, although the technique of overcoming voids through large stone slabs resting on pylons was also known in Roman times.
The interesting thing about this shape is that the stones can "hold" without the use of mortar.
From this photo from the late 1930s, it is difficult to understand whether it is a bridge or the remains of it, the materials of which may have been reused. An engineer might object that it is not a bridge, but a bridge arch.
There is no information on whether it currently still exists. In the pic, remains of Roman bridge in 1920.

The pyramid of Benben
Which has puzzled scientists for thousands of years and they are still unable to solve its mystery.
This stone dates back to the Heliopolis period of ancient Egypt and was discovered during the excavation of the Egyptian pyramids.
This pyramid is made of black stone, but it is no ordinary stone because its ingredients are not found anywhere on earth. This black stone is only found in meteorites in space and the other surprising thing here is that it is a very hard iron rock and it is hard to shape and dig but not hard to break so how can it be cut with such precision at different angles. Was it cut? How did it shine with such sophistication? How were the front parts of the pyramid engraved with correct inscriptions?

It"s a work in progress but it"s coming along just as we hoped!
We"ll rebuild the missing area once the stone is cured and solid. We"ll also do the infill afterwards too. Cleaning comes last but as expected, this stone is around 7 inches taller than any of the others here!
Best of all, it"s level and straight!!!
