Under the heading of "Can't Believe I Saw That!"....I was sitting with a friend in a coffee shop at a town close to mine, talking about his company, key associates and his company's expansion and his thinking about partnering on business with my company. One of his key employees happened to make a huge mistake in coming to the coffee shop to publicly blow up at her boss in front of all in view. Interestingly, she was about to get a key bonus package, partnership and a nice pay increase if we partnered our companies. Under the heading "Never Burn a Bridge"... I decided to buy my friend's coffee and we had a good laugh.... btw, there is now a key media position open in a local company. That was exciting start to a Monday.
