Sometimes, letting go is the key to unlocking something truly extraordinary. 🔑

Around this time last year, my client bought this property as an investment, a stepping stone towards bigger things ahead. But life, as it often does, threw a curveball: A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented itself for him to build his dream home a few years sooner than expected, and it required a shift in plans and a faster timeline.

Selling in the slower fall market wasn’t ideal, but his goal was to sell quickly rather than holding out for the possibility of more profit later (and I’m glad he didn’t wait!). We navigated the challenges with strategic marketing and skillful negotiation. While he may have taken a slight hit in the moment, it allowed him to free up some assets and get everything he wanted in his new home. In the end, it was all worth it.

They say you can never time the market, and after this deal I’d say that you can’t really time your dreams either. When the opportunity knocks, you either answer the call now or risk asking “what if?” forever…

I had never done a vision board before until tonight - I always thought they were cheesy and so unserious. In reality, it was everything I needed: self reflection, accountability, grounding, vulnerability, and just being raw with my friends on what I’m going through and how I want to elevate my life in healthy and realistic ways. It was like a cleansing for my soul. I’m so thankful to have the circle of friends I’ve been blessed with. A tale of two brothers and a dream 🏡
As my clients get cozy in their new home for the holidays, I’m realizing that this deal deserves more than a “just sold!! 🔑!” announcement and short little note that we often see; it was a journey filled with challenges and triumphs and needs to be shared as such. Now, as they embark on this new chapter, the real work begins. Moving, making repairs & updates, creating a budget – it’s a lot to take on. But the reward? A home that’s uniquely theirs, a space where they can create lasting memories.

Although we all may have experienced phases of grief, loss, struggle, loneliness, confusion, frustration, and anxiety this year through our own journeys, there is still so much to be thankful for. I am overflowing with gratefulness this year - for my clients who have trusted me with one of the most important milestones of their lives; for my boyfriend, DeSean, and our supportive and loving families; to my tribe (you know who you are 🙏🏼); for my HEALTH - which after a couple years of bouncing back from an injury I am in the best shape of my life; and of course I am so thankful to have kept my faith in God and trusted whatever journey He has in store for me.
