OK, so a couple issues with the new November/December 2024 issue that is just now coming into stores.
First, on page 26, A Cup of Tea with Lydia...the last line is cut off. It should read, "Optional: Omit steps 5 and 6 and frost the warm bread with a powdered sugar glaze."
Then, on the BackPage, All Sew in Flint, Linda's Country Quilts & Red Cardinal Quilting, both in Davision, are listed as being on page 16 but they are actually on page 18. The same is true for the stores listed as on page 17. Bay Shore Camp in Sebawaing, Country Treasures in Snover, Queen Bee Creations in Mt Morris, Pineberry Shoppe in Brown City, Red Chicken Co. in Birch Run, Suttle Stitches in Millington and Thumb Sewing in Caro are all on page 19.
Sorry for the errors! I forgot to make the change after realizing the color "middle" pages were different from the Sept/Oct issue, as this issue is 32 pages, not 36, which meant I shifted everything back two pages.

Anyone try the Rhubarb Sauce Drop Cookies?
Just received a call from a lovely woman from Alpena saying the sauce was much too runny and didn't think it was correct. She googled the recipe and found one on the website foodlustpeoplelove.com which has a different sauce recipe.
Since she had already made the sauce, she was planning to strain it and maybe cook it further to make it more thick.
I will be printing this new recipe in the JA24 issue if you'd rather wait before trying the one I printed in MJ24.
Unfortunately, Carylne, who wrote the cookbook that this recipe came from is no longer with us so I can't ask her for clarification.
Remember, I know nothing of cooking or baking so if something looks off, please do research before wasting your ingredients.

Yippee! The May/June 2024 issue has been sent to the printer!
It will be printed late Sunday night and they'll be picked up Wednesday by the shippers and start going out. UPS might pick up earlier for those that have UPS shipping, like the UP.
