The purpose of Vida de Oro Awards is to recognize artists in Northern California. Areas include: Art, Dance, Theater, Design, Music, Film and Literature.

Each year, beginning on March 17, 2016, Vida de Oro will conduct a nomination, selection, and voting process to select the best artist in the areas of Art, Dance, Theater, Design, Music, Film and Literature in Northern California. The nomination process begins in November with submissions reviewed by experts in the various areas. The finalists are named in February and the public voting begins in

February also. The process culminates at an annual Gala where winners are named and awarded, now planned for March 17, 2016. More details are available at www.vidadeoro.com.
