TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO WEAPON AND DRUG BUST BY K9 UNIT🦮

From Rocklin PD:
A traffic stop on a vehicle for equipment violations. During Officer Hurley’s contact with the driver, she spotted suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view. Based on her observations, she utilized K9 Pimm, who alerted to suspected narcotics in the vehicle.

A search of the car subsequently led to the discovery of a stolen firearm out of Sacramento and a sellable amount of fentanyl~keeping dangerous drugs and weapons off our streets. Arrested was Alan Fraga Calderon, 30 years old, out of Sacramento for illegal possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a controlled substance for sale, among other additional charges.

Thank you to Officer Hurley, K9 Pimm, and the rest of our weekend graveyard crew for a solid investigation! Another example of why K9 teams are invaluable in keeping our community safe!

GIRLFRIEND ARRESTED AFTER MISSING MAN FOUND MURDERED AND BURIED IN SHALLOW GRAVE – ACCOMPLICE STILL AT LARGE!

From Sac Sheriff:
In January of 2024, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office received a report that 47-year-old Matthew Clark was missing after he had an argument with his live-in girlfriend, later identified as 38-year-old Sofia Fermin.  The caller (Fermin’s brother) believed Sofia had something to do with the disappearance as she recently sold Clark’s pickup truck and other property.  Sheriff’s Missing Persons Detectives took on the case and began their investigation.

In June of 2024, Clark’s pickup truck was located in San Joaquin County by the San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office.  Sacramento County Sheriff’s Detectives recovered the vehicle and requested that it be processed.  Fingerprints belonging to 42-year-old Jerry Mulford were discovered inside the vehicle.

Missing Persons Detectives spoke with Fermin at the Main Jail when she was in custody for an unrelated incident.  She stated she was unsure of Clark’s whereabouts but later said that he was likely in a rehabilitation facility somewhere in California.

In September of 2024, Homicide Detectives took over the investigation and began their investigation into the disappearance of Clark.  Through their investigation from numerous interviews and warrants, detectives believed Fermin had shot Clark after an argument in December of 2023.  They learned that his body was likely buried on a property on the 100 block of U Street in Rio Linda.

PIMP ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFICKING A 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL 😬

From Sac Sheriff:
On February 18, 2025, Deputies responded to the Ramada Inn near Auburn Boulevard and Fulton Avenue about a female who had just been assaulted. When Deputies arrived, they learned the victim was 17-years-old, and was being trafficked and pimped out for s*x.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau responded to the scene, and the victim told them that she had engaged in s*xual in*******se with 26-year-old Alfred Walker, who was then driving her to various cities to perform commercial s*x acts. When she tried to resist and told him that she did not want to work on the street as a s*x worker, Walker repeatedly threatened her life, pointing a handgun at her, allowing him to continue to exploit her as a s*x worker. In one instance, when the victim attempted to leave Walker, he threatened to shoot any family members or friends who arrived to rescue her. In a different incident, Walker poured hot coffee on the victim to punish and threaten her when she tried to refuse to work as a s*x worker.

The victim told detectives that Walker communicated with all of the s*x buyers to coordinate s*x acts between the buyer and the victim, and would keep all of the money himself. Detectives learned Walker also had an unrelated felony arrest warrant for domestic violence and began searching for him for several days in various areas throughout Sacramento County.

On Thursday, February 27, at approximately 10:30 PM, Detectives located Walker driving near Fruitridge Road in South Sacramento. They conducted a vehicle stop and detained him without incident near the Fox 40 studios on the 4600 block of Fruitridge Road. A search of his vehicle yielded a fully loaded 1911 handgun, along with approximately 32 grams of a white crystalline substance, presumably methamphetamine. Walker was subsequently transported and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for multiple felonies, where he remains ineligible for bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.
