Today is the end of a very brief chapter in my life, DJ Ginger and DJGE is no more.
The equipment sold yesterday while I was out of town and I knew it was the right decision when I felt nothing except relief once the deal was closed.

Thank you to everyone that supported me and DJGE especially when everything imploded when 1 partner left with no notice, I broke my relationship off with 2nd partner, and my ankle surgery became much more involved than I originally thought was going to happen.

I feel blessed to have been involved in the weddings of several local couples and had a few fun karaoke nights locally, but my heart just isn't in it anymore. The equipment is going to be put to good use locally and I'm happy to know it's not just sitting in my closet going to waste.

I've decided to sell my DJ equipment. I have every bit of equipment (doubles of most pieces) to start a wedding dj/karaoke business.
I'll be taking pictures of everything Monday and posting on FB Marketplace. There are no issues with any of the equipment, I am getting out because I'm in college again and starting a new career at the same time that will have a weekend and night availability component. I'd also like my walk-in closet space back.

Many thanks to those that attended my karaoke events and booked weddings last year. It was fun and I got to do one of my life bucket list items, but it's time to move forward into my new fulltime career.

Good morning and happy weekend from DJGE.
As the busy wedding season is approaching, I know some of my wedding couples have been looking for alternative music to match their vibe as a couple. I share some of these with them so they can show family (moms) that it can be done in a classy way and still represent who they are.

Hey there, tribe. I just had to post something I saw that I thought was funny.

I hope all is going well for everyone. I'm doing good Just continuing PT and Dr follow-ups for my ankle. I've also been busy upgrading equipment and getting ready for wedding season 2023.

I do have some Saturday availability still open for wedding season if anyone is still on the hunt. I know some of the others in the area are pretty booked which is awesome, but I held back from booking more until I knew more about my ankle situation.

Other than that things are pretty mellow for DJGE. I'm still a solo act, but that may be changing depending on some recent developments. I know some djs like to do their thing solo, but I need help with set up and tear down and it's even more fun when you have someone else to help make sure things are flowing smoothly.
Tom was a great help at my last 2 weddings of the 2022, but he's gone to Arizona and unsure when he'll be back. It sure did come in handy having someone with me that formerly owned a automotive repair business foe over 30 years.

Happy Holidays everyone and thank you for helping to make the 1st year of DJGE a fun experience even with all the changes that happened during my busy season.

Ali and Sam welcomed Jack into the world on Dec 13, 2022.

DJGE has implemented a cash referral program for 2023 wedding/event bookings. I have a few dates left for next year and I'm just trying to get my schedule set in advance as much as possible so I can fit in any last minute bookings when wedding season is here.
Whoever gives a wedding/party referral to DJGE (your own event is excluded) and it books & contract is completed gets a 10% cash payout. Not a bad way to make money for taking the time to promote a growing small business. This also pays out for other djs, former djs, and facility staff that send referrals my way.
**Please make sure that the party booking let's me know upon 1st contact who referred them so I can make sure to get the future payment set for the person kind enough to refer DJGE.**
