Notes on Genesis 42 &43: PRAISE!!

In these verses, God showed me something…

Judah-PRAISE steps up and says “Trust me with what is troubling you. Turn over to me what has you afraid.”
Wow!!

When we are wallowing in the darkness of our own mind over the trivial things of life that we already have the victory over through Christ we are COMMANDED to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness!

God can’t and won’t place it on us, we must choose to put it on!
By choosing PRAISE we are also placing all concerns and fears in His Hands and letting PRAISE have its way and do it’s perfect work!!
By rejecting it we stay heavy and open to further attacks of Satan.

Hear and harken to Judah today!
Release what has an illegal hold on you!
Put on PRAISE and watch your situation turn around for His glory and for your good! Hallelujah 🙌🏼🕺🏻

The kingdom of God is a ‘voice-activated’ kingdom! When you have personalised the promise, you need to say it to yourself repeatedly. The word of God is spoken to you, to be spoken by you! When God gives His promises to you, He expects you to put them in your mouth! That was the rationale behind changing Abram’s name (exalted father) to Abraham (father of many nations).

We don’t vote for the candidate who makes us feel good or the one with the right “vibe”, especially if you CLAIM JESUS AS LORD.
We must vote for the candidate that BEST aligns with biblical values.
One party’s candidate does line up, the other OVERWHELMINGLY does not.

It has become a battle to develop a spiritual life in the fast-paced tempo of today’s world, and as a Christian serious with destiny, this is a battle you must not lose, or the devil will take your head. Nobody is ahead of you in life by mistake. Whoever is genuinely ahead of you in life is ahead of you because he is doing something well that you are not doing.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to discipline myself to study and meditate on your word daily in Jesus’ name, Amen!
