Does it matter! Does it make a difference? These questions about mixing in the box or through a summing mixer will always be asked. I love the joy of having the hybrid studio. being able to sum out the analog is absolutely awesome. Mixing in your DAW then having different options on the mix down is a great tool to hear the difference. Does it matter? Let your ears hear the difference, then you can decide.

As some of you know, the studio has been down since August. I have been busy putting in ac, rewiring, upgrading computers and upgrading software. Although there are still some cosmetic issues, the studio is up and running with new mics, mic pres, compressors and eqs. Thank you to everyone for your patience during this time. I am currently booked for the weeks of October 5-15 with a few afternoons available. Everything is open after the 16 so please contact me for any sessions. At 512-466-1342

This year has already been exciting. We have started 5 new projects ranging from praise and worship songs, R&B, country, jazz and rap. Pretty well rounded. I still have room for more.

That being said, our services for vocal coaching and ear training are picking up tremendously. It really helps for getting ready for that audition, recital, and performance.

It’s been a while since posting funny how life happens. The studio is as busy as ever with vocal coaching, drum tracking, and R&B filling in the time. We are still working with PBS and Pancake Mountain Recording their theme song and editing and doing their post-production work. November is already filling up and looking to be one of my busiest months this year. If you’re looking on coming in, let me know so I can squeeze you in.
