Church on the move has 34 rooms available at the Leisure Inn 2700 W. Second St. Roswell NM for people being evacuated in Ruidoso. The Church is also opening their doors at 901 West Brasher for over flow.

The Chaves County Fair Grounds are being opened for Fire Evacuees. Use Gate #1

Emergency shelter is at the Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell gymnasium at 52B University Blvd. on the college campus.

RVs and/or large animals can stay in their RVs and/or board their animals at the Eastern New Mexico State Fairgrounds at 2500 SE Main St.

Roswell hospitals are trying to accommodate as many patients as possible who are being moved out of the Ruidoso hospital.

We don't have any hookups for RV campers, only bare land we can help house some cattle. Our barn and stall have not been used in quite sometime but we do have a tub for water and can reach a hose. We don't ask for anything in return. Only offering what we can for the emergency needs.

Notice to the Public that there is a Large Fire at the Base located South of Roswell that has the Potential to Produce Deadly gases. Stay Clear of the Area! It is being advised by the city of Roswell that no evacuation is necessary at this time only shelter in place.
