..WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow
accumulations up to 3 inches and ice accumulations between one
tenth and three tenths of an inch possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest North Carolina, central, south
central, southwest, and west central Virginia, and southeast West
Virginia.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
