Update: All lanes are open again and traffic is moving.

Previously posted: Crews are clearing a wreck with a rolled-over tractor-trailer on Veterans Memorial Highway at Riverside Pkwy.

Cleanup will shut down east and westbound lanes for some time.

It could be lunchtime or later before the all-clear is given.

Traffic is being diverted down Riverside and Armuchee Connector.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Floyd County, Western Polk County, and Western Bartow County until 11:30 a.m.

At 10:46 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Cave Spring, or near Cedartown, moving northeast at 30 mph.

60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail are possible that could cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Saturday update: The game is under another lightning delay as storms are moving through the area again. Looks like the storms may pass through by 7:30 pm. Hopefully we can bring you the remainder of the game at some point tonight. We will keep you updated on the status of the game as we find out.

UPDATE: The game has been postponed until tomorrow. The game will resume at 6 pm tomorrow (Saturday). They will pick up where the game was left off in the 1st quarter.

High School Football is back. But we are currently under a weather delay up 14-0 in the 1st Quarter against Pickens High School in Jasper, Ga. Stay tuned for updates on when play may resume. Go Dragons!
