I borrowed this layout from a group. Whenever you are planning an event involving a DJ - please remember we need to be CLOSE to the dance floor. What REALLY happens if you place a DJ in this location? First, we can't properly "control" the room as in get people in place for special dances, toasts, etc. Secondly, the speakers are now in the corner and not near the dance floor. By doing this you will have a harder time hearing the music on the dance floor and the people placed at the tables in front of the DJ will not be able to hear to talk. If the DJ has lights - they are now over in the corner of the room. Please, include your DJ in the setup plans/location of your event. Placed in the back corner of a room away from the dance floor is absolutely NOT an acceptable location.

Congratulations to Kaulin and Elizabeth Andric. It was a pleasure to help make your day special. The backdrop for today's wedding and reception was unbelievable! It was my first time working at The Lindale Mill. Thank you to DJ Charlie Spriggs for all the help today. We provided a double PA system for the reception area, had to operate sound for the ceremony and also cocktail area. It was a very busy day but fun working with all the great vendors.
