Not a lot has changed from yesterday into today as we are still expecting a significant winter storm to impact much of the state late tonight and last throughout the day tomorrow.

Substantial snow amounts anticipated for many, especially for those along and south of I-70.

On top of this, dangerous cold is expected with wind chills at times over the next few days feel like well below zero for so many.

Please take every precaution to keep you, your loved ones, pets and anyone else around safe and warm!

Welp here we go again

The next few days are gonna be quite chaotic for the state of Missouri as a significant winter storm looms large.

Monday night through Wednesday morning will be the period where the impacts of the winter storm will be felt most.

Winter storm warnings (pink) and watches (blue) have continued to be posted in response.

Throughout both the watch and warned area, snowfall total could range from 5-10 inches with higher amounts possible, especially across the warning area as we could see a foot in places.

Don't expect yourself to travel unless you ABSOLUTELY have too, then make sure to be prepared. Otherwise make sure to keep you and those around you safe and warm during this event.

Also a note on the advisory area (purple) across northern and parts of central Missouri, that's for a separate event during the day tomorrow where snowfall totals could range from 1-3 inches.

More details soon as more warnings and advisories are expected soon.

The McDonald’s McBarge was a floating fast-food marvel that was once located on the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis, serving Big Macs with a side of scenic views! Imagine a whimsical McDonald's on water, where you could enjoy your fries while looking up at the Arch, all while surrounded by the laughter of families and the occasional seagull stealing your nuggets. It was a quirky slice of '90s nostalgia that turned lunchtime into a mini adventure on the water!
