We had a great time building antennas and using them for a foxhunt with some new students! We love sharing our passion for amateur radio with more young people like us.

We had a great time at Clearwater Lake near Piedmont, Missouri for the total solar eclipse! We witnessed the sky go dark for almost four minutes as the moon crossed in front of the sun around 1400 local time. We also met some other hams watching the eclipse as well!

November Sweepstakes was a success! We claimed 803 total contacts and a Clean Sweep. Congrats to all 11 of our operators, we’re very proud of the effort you put in to make this a great weekend!

We ran 4 stations with 4 amplifiers this weekend. None blew up, which is a huge success. We set up several antennas in the yard, including a multiband vertical and several dipoles. We worked stations on 10m, 15m, 20m, 40m, and 80m. We made contacts with all 85 sections this year. Thank you to everyone that made contacts with us and the ARRL & RAC.
