California voters have brought Prop 2 to the November ballot, a move to approve $10 billion in bonds for schools across the state. Though Prop 2 is a state measure, local measures from Sonoma County schools have also put their own bond approvals on the ballot. Rebels With a Cause highlights a group of activists who fought to preserve open spaces, leading to America's national seashores and recreation areas. Along with stories about saving the Bolinas Lagoon and the Marin Headlands, the film underscores the importance of the hard work it takes for a community to accomplish such an amazing success as the preservation of Point Reyes.
