Stray storms this morning, strong storms this evening
A few stray thunderstorms will be possible until mid morning today. After that, expect occasional sunshine with high temperatures in the mid 80s in the afternoon. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to develop after 6 PM, impacting the entire area through midnight. Large hail and damaging winds will be possible this evening with as much as an inch of rainfall in the heaviest storms. Tomorrow will be sunny and less humid. The holiday weekend looks bright and pleasant.
Areasof fog, then sunshine today
Clouds and pockets of thick fog will give way to bright sunshine late this morning. Under a mostly sunny sky this afternoon, high temperatures will be in the upper 70s with light Northeast winds. Clouds will thicken on Thursday with a chance of late afternoon and evening thunderstorms. A few storms may become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts, and hail as well as locally heavy downpours of rainfall. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the low 80s. Friday and the holiday weekend will be sunny and pleasant.
