Stray storms this morning, strong storms this evening

A few stray thunderstorms will be possible until mid morning today. After that, expect occasional sunshine with high temperatures in the mid 80s in the afternoon. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to develop after 6 PM, impacting the entire area through midnight. Large hail and damaging winds will be possible this evening with as much as an inch of rainfall in the heaviest storms. Tomorrow will be sunny and less humid. The holiday weekend looks bright and pleasant.

Areasof fog, then sunshine today

Clouds and pockets of thick fog will give way to bright sunshine late this morning. Under a mostly sunny sky this afternoon, high temperatures will be in the upper 70s with light Northeast winds. Clouds will thicken on Thursday with a chance of late afternoon and evening thunderstorms. A few storms may become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts, and hail as well as locally heavy downpours of rainfall. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the low 80s. Friday and the holiday weekend will be sunny and pleasant.

A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible this morning. Damaging wind gusts and hail will be possible in the strongest storms this morning. A stray storm may redevelop in the afternoon. Expect partly sunny skies with high temperatures in a low 80s. After a quiet Wednesday, showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Thursday with high temperatures in the 80s. The weekend will be quiet and mild.

Hot and humid today

Bright sunshine will help temperatures warm quickly to the low 90s today. Heat index values will be in the low 100s this afternoon. An excessive heat warning will be in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible after 9 PM tonight. Damaging wind, gust and large hail will be possible through midnight.

Mild sunshine today

A few patches of fog will be possible until the end of the morning commute today. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies across the area today with high temperatures in the mid 70s and lightwinds. There will be a chance of light rain late this evening overnight temperatures in the mid 50s. High temperatures will be in the 70s for the rest of the week . A stray shower is possible early Friday morning. Heat and humidity build for the weekend.

Warm sunshine today

Bright sunshine will help temperatures warm quickly from the 50s this morning to the upper 70s during the afternoon. High temperatures will be the mid upper 70s throughout the week with small rain chances closer to the weekend.

Isolated showers today

We have a breezy and mild Friday ahead of us with isolated showers and a stray thunderstorm from the late morning through the afternoon hours. High temperatures will be in the low 70s with a gusty West breeze and occasional sunshine. There will be a slight chance for a brief shower on Saturday with high temperatures in the mid 70s. Sunday will be the warmest day of the weekend with most of the sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.

Partly sunny skies can be expected in the late morning and afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 70s and a light south. A few stray storms will develop this evening with partly cloudy skies and lows in the low 60s. Friday will feature isolated showers, gusty, winds, and partly sunny skies.

Temperatures will warm quickly today with the help of bright sunshine and a light Southeast breeze. High temperatures will be around 80 this afternoon. Expect rain chances Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Some thunderstorms late tomorrow evening may produce locally heavy downpours of rainfall. There will be a chance of isolated storms on Thursday with a slight chance for a few brief showers on Friday.

Warm, muggy weather will fuel strong storm chances today. Expect isolated showers and thunder storms this morning. Another round of storms is expected this afternoon possibly becoming severe after 5 PM. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be possible with heavy rain in the evening. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s. The next several days will be bright and mild with highs in the 70s.

Saturday will be very similar with mostly sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the mid 80s. A couple of thunderstorms will be possible late Saturday night with a few more possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Under a partly sunny sky, high temperatures on Sunday will be in the low 80s.
