Went out with Vinh, and his family. His daughter hooked and put topside a 26 1/2 walleye personal best for her all that beginners luck i guess. Some nice saugers as well with a bonus perch.

Last two Saturdays in March fishing the driftless was slow but we managed a few brown's. Though the waters are low from a dry Minnesotas winter we put our efforts in for the tug and the feel of tight lines. Always a pleasure to take out friends and fairly newbies to fly fishing it's enjoyable to watch them grow and learn what you teach. One day I'll sit back and embrace the feelings of knowing that they will teach the next generation of what seems to be a love for fly fishing the driftless!

Trout fishing was tough yesterday. Water is low, low, low! Did manage 4 rainbows and 2 lost brown's. Had to take Andrew to my one spot to at least he wouldn't get skunked. We definitely need lots of rain.

Trout were definitely aggressive attacking those nymphs. Good times, great weather!

Took Dor out trout fishing to a couple of the streams that have some of the best views. Here's Dor with a nice Brown trout caught with a Panther Martin spinner then released.
