Bound by Bravery Movie Premiere and Photo Exhibition
Join us for an exciting evening at The Little Theatre for the premiere of our latest film, Bound by Bravery. This inspiring film is the creation of of young interns from My In Controll Summer Filmmaking Program, in collaboration with UtchatVision and the City of Rochester (SOOP). The evening begins with a captivating photo exhibition hosted by our talented young photographers from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the movie screening. Don’t miss this unique event that celebrates courage and creativity, and be inspired by the vision and talent of the next generation!

Bound by Bravery Movie Overview
In Bound by Bravery, Jayden, a teenager struggling with anger and loss after the death of his martial arts champion father, stumbles upon his dad's memorabilia and fighting journal. These relics ignite a spark within him, pushing Jayden to harness his father's skills and teachings. As he delves deeper into martial arts, he gains strength and confidence, preparing himself to confront a new challenge: protecting his mother from her abusive boyfriend, Mike.

My Summer Youth Filmmaking Program is casting for a short film this summer. We are seeking a Black male actor, aged 30-40, to portray an abusive stepfather. This character is frequently in conflict with his girlfriend, leading her son, Jayden, to finally intervene.

We are also casting a young actor to play Jayden, aged 8-10, for a flashback scene with his late biological father. Jayden's father, a professional martial arts champion, passed away several years ago.

If you are interested or have a child aged 8-10, please inbox us. We are shooting this Thursday and Friday.

I have heard and seen enough. Sandra Doorley MUST GO! PERIOD! A resignation is LIGHT. She must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Sandra Doorley needs to the following charges:

1. Speeding: Exceeding the posted speed limit.

2. Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer: Evading law enforcement when signaled to stop.

3. Reckless Driving: Operating a vehicle in a manner that endangers others.

4. Failure to Obey a Lawful Order: Ignoring commands from law enforcement.

There may be other charges like "Abuse of Power".

Sandra Doorley's actions were offensive and belligerent. In my opinion based on body cam footage she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sandra Doorley MUST GO!

Only 11% of the 3rd graders in the Rochester City School District are proficient readers. The RCSD has a budget of 1.1 Billion for the 2023-24 academic school year. This is a CRIME! I believe Civil Rights are being violated. Happy Black History Month!
