One of the best parts of last month was reconnecting with my incredible sister queens from across the country at Mrs. World! The theme of the Mrs. America Organization is We Are Family—and that couldn’t be more true. These women inspire me, support me, and remind me that this journey is about so much more than a crown.

Homeward Bound from Mrs. World!

After an incredible time in Las Vegas, I’m on my way home, reflecting on the amazing experience of Mrs. World. A huge congratulations to Tshego Gaelae, Mrs. South Africa, on making history as the first Black Mrs. World! Her grace, strength, and beauty were truly inspiring to witness.

Beyond the competition, what made this experience so special was the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make so many new ones. The sisterhood within this organization is unmatched, and I’m so grateful for the memories, laughter, and shared moments of inspiration.

Now, it’s time to head back to New York, filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey—it means the world!

Today, on , I reflect on the countless ways I’ve had the privilege to serve my community over the years. From my time as an AmeriCorps member making this a day on rather than a day off, to leading service retreats and programs for nearly two decades, the memories—though captured in low-quality photos—are rich in high-quality impact.

Each act of service reminds me of Dr. King’s vision of building a better world together. Let’s honor his legacy by choosing to serve, spread kindness, and create change.

Born and raised in Western New York, Fleur is a proud homeowner with a mini-farm. Fleur graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science in 2018. After graduating, Fleur started her career as an Emergency Services Dispatcher with her local Sheriff’s office and is now working as a Security Operations Center Specialist.

Fleur has a passion for helping veterans and first responders as she has experienced first-hand the lack of mental health care and support offered to those that serve our community. She started volunteering with the New York State Trooper Foundation at the Erie County Fair when she met some volunteers for a veteran organization, Western New York Heroes and has been volunteering with them for the past eight years. Fleur doesn’t just spend her volunteer time with veterans and officers, but really any organization that needs assistance. Fleur has raised funds for the Special Olympics, the American Heart Association, and the Pink Fund.

When not volunteering, Fleur likes to garden, explore the woods, and spend time with her family. She loves to play with and train her two German Shepherds while also tending chickens, and snuggling cats. Fleur especially enjoys going to as many concerts as possible. And I’m sure you could never guess what her favorite type of music is, it’s heavy metal!

Congratulations Miss Flower City! We’re thrilled for your exciting journey ahead!
