Starting her journey in 2003 as a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant, she specialized in assisting those with expressive language and behavior challenges and has since expanded her expertise to include Applied Behavioral Analysis and much more. Rachel also founded Rochester Autism Connection in 2013 to support community connections and resource access.
Having obtained her Master’s in Social Work, and as a parent and individual diagnosed with autism herself, Rachel offers a unique and deeply personal perspective on neurodivergent-affirming care and the everyday realities faced by those in the autistic community.
