WXXI is offering a free screening/panel discussion at the Little Theatre of Emergent City from PBS POV. The film deals with issues of urban planning and development and civic engagement with an existing neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. The film explores the profound intersections of gentrification, climate crisis and real estate development, and asks how change might emerge from dialogue and collective action in a world where too many outcomes are constrained by money, politics and business as usual.

Following the screening we will have a moderated panel discussion with local panelists about related issues in our own community.

Details and registration for the free event on November 18th at 6:30pm are here. Register here: Https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wxxi-free-pov-emergent-city-screening-panel-discussion-tickets-1936206829749?aff=oddtdtcreator
