Here are some official snowfall reports. These reports came in between 6-8 AM, so keep in mind they do not include any trailing snow showers from later on.

Other communities with reports of 2" of snow include Tomahawk, Shawano, Phillips, and Evergreen.

After ending January with mild weather (even record-breaking at times), our first full week of February is going to feel & look more like Winter. In fact, we are starting out the week with a First Alert Weather Day (FAWD) this morning due to snow on the morning commute.

Several record highs were broken on Thursday!! We won’t be breaking anymore records for warmth for awhile, but we do have somewhat mild days ahead Friday & into the weekend.

:It was an unseasonably warm Thursday in North Central Wisconsin. Record highs were set locally in many spots, including , , , , and . The high in La Crosse was the warmest January temp on record. The high hit the low 60s in Boscobel.

: A clipper system is expected to "clip" the Northwoods this morning. Lighter snow showers are also expected later tonight. To go along with both rounds of snow, winds are expected to ramp up yet again later this morning. Get all of the details of how much snow we could pick up, when our next Weathermaker arrives after today, and how gusty those winds are expected to get here.



Communities in the Northwoods could get as much as 1-3″ of snow by tomorrow morning; everyone will have their strongest winds of the week today.
